Manufactured with high-strength carbide, Boart Longyear carbide bits are designed for drilling in soft-to-medium rock formations and overburden, and offer high performance in a variety of applications.

Size
Boart Longyear bits are available in either bit or shoe options and casing (CAS) and rod (ROD) shoe configurations.  In addition the carbide bits are available in all standard sizes, as well as a number of region-specific sizes.

Gauge
Boart Longyear carbide bits are available in three standard gauge configurations.
Standard (S) is equal to reaming shell gauge (R) oversized OD (OS, Inches)
   
Waterways
Boart Longyear carbide bits are available with two standard waterway configurations.
